About Stafford Dance Academy

At the Stafford Dance Academy, we believe every dancer deserves a place to feel encouraged, supported, and proud of their progress. Our small class sizes allow each dancer to receive personal attention while building strong technique and confidence.
We offer classes for dancers ages 2 and up in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and creative movement.

what makes sda dance classes so special?
All SDA curriculum starts with introduction of the basics - rudiments and age appropriate stretching/conditioning. This allows for younger dancers to gain confidence, and encourages older dancers to really focus on the mechanics
Each class provides opportunities for dancers to independently travel across the floor. This reinforces lessons in patience and waiting your turn. It also allows young dancers to SHINE in their own spotlight for a moment.
Circle time, fun with props (sharing) and working with partners are skills incorporated into each SDA curriculum theme.
SDA curriculum is designed to be gender neutral and can be used in a variety of class settings - studio, after school, daycare, and camps.
SDA curriculum is considered a progressive spiral program. So it can take your dancers from day one to the stage!
Dance teaches young dancers to see details, to develop concentration, and encourages the growth of self confidence.
